My childhood friend wrote for me

From young we grew,
Into friends we do.
Happiness, we shared
Bitterness, we went through.

You were by my side when I’m feeling down,
You were there when I cried.
You consoled me when I fell out of love,
You stood by me during my darkest moments.

You would never know,
Small actions you do,
Touches my heart warmly,
And made me felt so worthy.
The things you did for me,
Made me recovered so quickly.

With you I realized happiness within small things,
I learnt to be contented easily.
But most of all,
I learnt to value my life,
And looked at the brighter side.

Never will we forget that faithful day,
Where we gone through thick and thins in that small room.
Never shall I forget the day,
When I first met you in school.

Twelve years isn’t easy road,
But hand in hand we traveled through.

Still friends as we are,
Promise me that we will.
I hope we will grow so old together,
Where we sit in the park,
People will ask, "How long have you been friends?
We would answer them, "We had long forgotten!"

We have lessons to learn,
We have countries to go.
Though yet to fulfill our dreams,
I urge you,
By no means shall we give up!

The world’s so beautiful,
Coz I have you,
I juz wanna tell you,
You are my sister; you are my FRIEND!
